Our values - One Step
What does Cosie mean?
Cosie is slang for a best friend that supports you and is there for you. That’s what we are. We are a community of people that are here for you during your recovery journey.
Community is forever
When you live at one of our houses our network of members are all here for you. Whether it’s figuring out how to apply to school, redoing your resume or finding out where the closest AA meeting is, we are here. But community does not stop when you leave our house. We have an open door policy where you are welcome to come back to the house for weekly family dinners and member events. Those who have been in the community for a while make themselves available to mentor newer members, and are happy to lend a helping hand at any time.
We believe in full transparency at Cosie. We teach you how to over communicate, express how you feel and open up so we can all be there to help each other and keep each other accountable. Your success is our success.
Transparency and communication lead to accountability
We are better together
When you are early in recovery, it is proven that peer support and community decrease the chance of relapse. In the house, we all share everything – space, food and stories.
We truly believe that each and every one of you can be whomever you want and do whatever you put your mind to. We are here to inspire you, empower you and help you achieve your goals.
